One swing. Five dimensions. One clear path to improvement.
The ProSwing Swing Score™ is a 0–100 composite measure of swing quality. Every dimension is built from multiple biomechanical measurements captured from your swing — then rolled up into one number, five explanations, and one priority.
Stable, repeatable body position
Control measures how consistently you maintain a stable, repeatable body position while creating your swing.
Efficient energy transfer
Sequence measures how efficiently your lower body, torso, arms, and bat work together to create the swing.
Movement turned into bat speed
Speed measures how effectively you turn your movement into bat speed.
Efficient barrel through the zone
Path measures how efficiently your barrel moves through the zone and how consistently it stays in a productive hitting path.
Control through contact
Finish measures how well you maintain control and balance through and after contact.
Swing Score = Control × 20% + Sequence × 25% + Speed × 20% + Path × 25% + Finish × 10%. Each dimension is normalized to 0–100 against validated reference ranges before aggregation.
Scores are integers (e.g. 87 — Strong Swing). Confidence (High / Moderate / Low) reflects video quality. If confidence is low we tell you: some measurements are less certain because of video quality.
Grades: 95–100 Elite · 90–94 Excellent · 80–89 Strong · 70–79 Developing · 60–69 Needs Work · <60 Priority Area.
Advanced diagnostics — On-Plane Efficiency (OPE), Swing Length Above Predicted (SLAP), and raw biomechanics — live under Path and the Technical layer. They inform the score but never compete with it.
